ARG – Core of the European pipeline network

The ARG pipeline system is the core of the European pipeline grid and transports ethylene over almost 500 km from Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Antwerp (Belgium) or the Ruhr Region (Germany) via the districts of Cologne and Frankfurt up to the Austrian border to Burghausen, and of course also in the other direction.

With the variety of connected ethylene producers and consumers – either directly or indirectly via their own connection lines – it provides a reliable infrastructure for the Western European petrochemical industry, ensuring the security of supply that is essential for the expansion of chemical production sites and investment in plants, as well as potential company relocations.
