ARG supports low-threshold health care in Ludwigshafen and a project that takes care of “street children” in Mannheim

22. December 2020/in General, Important news, Press reports /by argredakteur

A cherished tradition will not be neglected this year either. ARG does not give Christmas presents for its business partners and instead supports various social projects, all of which deserve great recognition and support.

A year that demanded a lot from our society, the economy and each and every one of us. However, the corona pandemic has not only proven to be a particular challenge, but also an accelerator for innovation and change.

This year, the donation will be given to two initiatives that take care of target groups for whom it is generally more difficult to raise funds or who are particularly negatively affected by the pandemic situation:

Street-Doc Ludwigshafen
offer low-threshold health care
for socially disadvantaged groups and

Freezone
takes care of street children in Mannheim.

In any case, Corona has made life even harder for people on the street than it already is.

“For a good start in life: Enjoy learning and taking responsibility for others!“

18. December 2019/in General, Important news, Press reports /by argredakteur

For many years, the company ARG renounces Christmas presents for their business partners and instead supports various social projects, all of which deserve great recognition and support.

This year, the support association of the elementary school “Im Brömm” Gelsenkirchen receives the donation. For many years the school has run a school garden, in which the students grow healthy and delicious vegetables. This way they do not only learn about a balanced diet but also about the associated work.

In the integrative work with children, the teachers are now also supported by a therapy dog. This provides a new and effective way for the children to learn effectively and take responsibility.

ARG makes christmas donation to “Marler Tafel”

26. November 2018/in Important news, Press reports /by ARG online

“When we understand that the secret of happiness lies not in possessing but in giving, by making others happy we shall be happier ourselves.” (André Gide)

As every year, the ARG forgoes Christmas presents for its business partners. Instead, ARG supports the “Marler Tafel”, a non-profit organization whose 20-year volunteer work for people in need deserves recognition.

The organization has been collecting foods that can no longer be sold for a variety of reasons for nearly two decades, to support low-income people. The products are given a very good use and with the work of the volunteers help make life a little more liveable for the people.

Therefore, this year the “Marler Tafel e.V.” receives the deserved donation.

„rollis@school“

9. November 2017/in Press reports /by ARG online

„We want to offer students the opportunity to get to know the wheelchair sport to compete in a tournament with teams from other schools.“

For years, ARG has renounced Christmas presents for its business partners and instead donates them to integrative, charitable or supportive institutions or initiatives.

This year, the integrative project “rollis@school” of the Wheelchair Basketball Club Köln 99ers receives the donation.

INCLUSION is for the 99ers not just a phrase, but lived practice in everyday sports. It is by no means limited to the term pair “pedestrian/wheelchair users”. Their teams train and play “young savages” and “old hands”, men and women, “Kölsche Mädcher” and “Kölsche Junge” as well as “Imis”, people with different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

With this donation, the 99ers start a new project in the children and youth sector. Under the name “rollis@school” wheelchair basketball teams should be started especially at inclusive schools in Cologne.

Go-Live of BIL eG on 29. February 2016 and therefore improved pipeline information

1. March 2016/in Press reports /by argredakteur

The Germany-wide Information System for Pipelines Inquiries (Bundesweites Informationssystem zur Leitungsrecherche – BIL) is a portal that makes available information on pipelines across Germany. Inquiring companies can locate and describe in BIL the construction project in detail based on geographical location information. BIL checks online who is responsible for the pipelines in the area and then sends the enquirer a list with the relevant information in a fully digitized workflow. Read more…
